A part of SANWATCE

The African Centre of Excellence for Water in Zimbabwe (ACEWATERZIM) is a pivotal member of the AUDA-NEPAD Southern African Network of Water Centres of Excellence (SANWATCE), a consortium of 11 esteemed universities and research institutions across Southern Africa. SANWATCE is dedicated to enhancing water research, capacity development, and policy formulation to address the continent’s water challenges. This collaborative framework fosters interdisciplinary research and innovation, aiming to improve water resource management and policy across the region.

ACEWATERZIM plays a crucial role within this network by focusing on Zimbabwe’s specific water-related challenges. Through cutting-edge research and capacity-building initiatives, ACEWATERZIM contributes to sustainable water management practices that benefit both local communities and the broader Southern African region.

By leveraging the collective expertise of SANWATCE members, ACEWATERZIM enhances its impact on water sustainability efforts, ensuring that research findings translate into practical solutions for water resource management challenges.
