An emerging researcher from the National University of Science and Technology (NUST), Zimbabwe, Mr Everson Ndlovu, a PhD candidate, attended the Climate Change and Futures in Africa Conference held in Namibia from 29–31 October 2025. During the conference, he presented his research on the impacts of climate change and pollution on the Deka River, a tributary of the Zambezi River, highlighting the environmental challenges affecting the river system and contributing to broader discussions on climate resilience and sustainable water resource management in Africa.
